ABOUT
Evergreen PAC, the campaign arm of the Oregon House Republicans, exists to restore balance in our state government by electing more common-sense leaders. We are solely focused on breaking the Democrat's supermajority in 2026 to give Oregonians a voice in their state government.
OUR PRIORITIES
HOUSING
Appropriate housing is out of reach for too many Oregonians. By engaging in responsible land use reform and implementing safe but reasonable building codes, we can dramatically reduce the cost of building the new housing units our friends, families, and neighbors so desperately need.
COST OF LIVING
Oregon has one of the highest tax burdens on families in the United States. Housing is some of the most expensive in the nation, pricing out working families from building generational wealth. Our state budget has doubled in the last 10 years, but Democrats in Salem are always finding an excuse to raise your taxes. Republicans are committed to lowering the cost of living through regulation reform and reducing taxes on businesses and their workers alike.
AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE
The tax-and-spend shell game that has propped up Oregon's and the entire nation's healthcare system is fundamentally broken. The "Affordable Care Act" promised affordable healthcare. It's failed. We need real reform, price transparency, and accountability in the healthcare industry to make it affordable for working families.
NATURAL RESOURCES
Oregon’s incredible natural resources enable us all to live in this beautiful place. Timber, water, produce, and livestock and our ability to grow them require special protections. Evergreen is dedicated to electing Representatives who understand the unique needs of Oregon’s rural communities.
SAFETY
The fundamental job of government is to provide public safety. Democrats have chosen for decades to fund pet projects and have underinvestment in our state and local police forces. They have let violent criminals out of jail early, tied the hands of law enforcement to make arrests, and have encouraged open air drug use on our streets that have made our homeless problem worse. Republicans will stand with law enforcement and support laws that bring order back to our streets and public spaces.
WILDFIRE
Years of misguided regulations have resulted in forests that are overgrown and unhealthy, priming our forests devastating forest fires. The federal government has failed the state by allowing federal bureaucracy from getting in the way of managing our forests responsibly. Republicans will push for science-based, fire-resistant forest management policies and open up our forests back for the good paying jobs that once helped our state and rural communities thrive.
STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT
Democrats have radically increased education spending over the last decade. We can no longer point to funding as the source of Oregon students’ underperformance in elementary, middle, and high school. Republicans are dedicated to making sure a diploma in Oregon indicates true proficiency in basic subjects like reading and math and readiness for employment and further education. We will fight to restore basic graduation standards and empower families to choose the best learning environment for their kids.
TRANSPARENCY
Our government is elected by us and funded by us. We have a reasonable expectation of openness, honesty, and transparency in both the Legislature and the Executive Branch. When we have political will in the Legislature, we can make meaningful improvements in the way Oregon’s agencies are held accountable.
